    Well, I bought 2 of these for my Dell Inspiron 5100, now works there, and one caught my PC crashes. Yes, I update the BIOS, and my PC works well with a module of 512 MB and PNY memory module of 512 MB of another company.     The product is excellent. But Amazon has mislabeled their actions (desktop version has been marked with the portable code). To order by phone and demand to ensure that Amazon send MN1024 NOT MD1024.
